Tonight (July 8th) Maddy gave us the greatest joy a parent can ever receive - she became our Sister in Christ!
"No greater joy do I have than to see my children Walk in the Truth!" 3rd John 4

As you can imagine, it was rather emotional for all of us.

Maddy picked out her favorite songs for G'pa Lowell to lead:
He Bore It All
Whiter Than Snow
The Lily of the Valley
Something About That Name
Is it Well With Your Soul
I Will Call Upon the Lord
He's My Lord
I've Been Redeemed!

Her dad took her confession and baptized her for the remission of sins.

She had a class full of her favorite sisters and best friends.

And most of her grandparents were there - Great Grandmas Betty and Nora Lee, Great G'pa Carroll (wish I got a photo of the greats together), and grandparents Lowell, Bruce and Suzanne.

We thought a lot of Grandma Pat tonight. We missed her. Lord willing, Maddy will take her first communion on her physical birthday, July 12.

We PRAISE GOD for His plan of eternal salvation!!! We know only God could love her more than we do and we thank Him for His perfect love.

I am soooooooooo glad you got so many videos of this night; I almost felt like I was there. Bless you, Maddy. We love you and are thrilled you've made the best decision you'll ever make.

Dear Maddy,

Congratulations on your decision to follow Christ. By making this decision early, you will be able to serve Him for many years. The Christian walk, while not always easy is always best and most blessed. And you will have brothers and sisters everywhere to help you through. Love to you and your family!

Maddy, we are so proud of the decision you have made. You are so special to us, I hope you know that! Sunday when you were sitting with us in church I looked over at you and thought WOW!! she's really growing up! We love you Maddy!!

I am filled with joy for Maddy's decision, as well! She already conducts herself in such a nice way. I know she is going to be a strong soldier in the army of the Lord, and I will pray we can strengthen each other along the way!

Praise God! We are so excited for Maddy!!! We were just talking about this at the Apple Barrell! Please give her a hug for us! You are great parents and examples for Maddy on how to walk after Christ! Love you guys! PS Luke sends a hug for Shea:)
